THE ROLE

As part of a dynamic and dedicated team, as a Gym Monitor, you will have the opportunity to ensure the gym facilities are functioning accordingly and are properly supervised. Daily, you will offer above class client service to our clientele and ensure the safety of our clients to ensure the members of the Canadian Armed Forces can safely and effectively use the gym facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience

Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications

Experience

In cash handling

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset

OTHER INFORMATION

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

This is a casual position working no more than (13 1/3) hours per week. Casual employees are hired on a temporary basis for a fixed period of time not exceeding twelve months. A new contract can be issued without a break in service.
