THE ROLEAs the Front Desk Gym Supervisor, you will ensure clients are provided with information regarding the facility, services, programs and activities. You will supervise and train employees as well as assist with employees hiring. You prepare employee work schedules and standard operating procedures. As the supervisor, you will address minor disputes and refer conflicts to the manager and supervisors when necessary. You will liaise with other departments on facilities use, and registration for programs and assist with the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures. In addition to any other related duties as assigned by your manager.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND some years of experience in a related field
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
Experience
Of recreation or community centre facilities
Of sports, leisure and community programs
Of health and safety practices
Of loss prevention
Of program registration
Of PSP sponsorship programs, military discount program and other related initiatives, an asset
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
