THE ROLE

The Finance division is seeking a highly motivated, organized and creative Change Manager to help us re-define how we serve the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). This is an opportunity to have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our members.

As a Change Manager, you are responsible for guiding the Finance division through transitions by ensuring that new initiatives, processes, or technologies are adopted smoothly and effectively. You act as the bridge between leadership, project teams, and employees, minimizing resistance and maximizing engagement.

You will develop and implement structured change management strategies aligned with organizational goals. You will communicate clearly with leaders, teams, and individuals to build trust and support for change while analyze how changes affect people, processes, and systems, and design mitigation strategies.

You will be responsible to provide resources, coaching, and training to help employees adapt confidently. You will track adoption rates, measure success, and adjust strategies to ensure sustainable outcomes.

You will balance priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring transformation efforts deliver their intended benefits by fostering resilience, minimizing disruption, and embedding change into the organizational culture. Your ultimate goal, is to help people embrace change, not just manage it.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Leadership Studies or a related discipline AND several years of experience in a related field

In managing organizational change efforts and activities

In business management theories, practices, principles and standards

In designing and developing communications

In business relationship and stakeholder management

In business and strategic planning

In business needs analysis

In providing advice and guidance

In project management

In budget administration

In industry related software

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
