THE ROLEUnder the supervision of the Mess Manager, the Bar and Event Supervisor plans, organizes, staffs and directs all bar(s) activities and events according to established policies and regulations. They monitor and order liquor and bar supplies, ensures compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and provides administrative support related to functions at the facility. The Bar and Event Supervisor also trains and supervises employees.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years experience in beverage sector or a related field
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in New Brunswick (19)
Responsible beverage service certification, an asset
Valid driver’s license, an asset

In bar operations
In budget administration
In cash handling
