THE ROLEAre you passionate about cars, tools, and helping fellow enthusiasts bring their automotive projects to life? We're looking for a friendly and knowledgeable individual to join our CFMWS team as an Automotive Hobby Shop Attendant. As part of a team, you will work no more than 13 hours a week in the evenings and weekends when the Hobby Shop is open.
As an Automotive Hobby Shop Attendant, you'll oversee the daily operations of our Automotive Hobby Shop. You’ll welcome members, open and close the Shop, assist with facility rentals, ensure safety protocols are followed, and offer guidance on DIY repairs and upgrades. Whether you're recommending the right wrench or sharing tips on tire changes, your enthusiasm and expertise will make every visit a great experience.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
Trade Certificate, Apprenticeship, Red Seal Endorsement in a related field
OR
High school diploma AND some mechanical, electrical, carpentry experience
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
Experience
In operating and repairing equipment, machinery and vehicles
In developing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures
In the implementation of training and practice sessions
In facility security and access control
In cash handling
In supervising the work of volunteers
