You will prepare travel arrangements, travel claims, and expense reports. You will prepare and organize material for conferences and meetings, managing logistics, travel and expenditures. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the set-up and take down of social and military functions. This is a role where everyone works as one team to provide the best customer experience for our military members and community and contributes in creating a fun and positive workplace. Offer expertise in management, operational and hospitality services as part of the team that oversees military messes throughout Canada and the world. The military mess is the centre of social life for serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces, where customs, responsibilities and social standards are practiced. Messes are steeped in rich military heritage and tradition. The mess includes food as a central component of events and camaraderie.
