The salary range for this position is {$ 95,500- $ 127,300}. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

What the day will look like 

• Be an advocate for the clients to protect their interests in the claims process, this includes negotiating for coverage and quantum, addressing service issues, gathering missing information and analysis of claims circumstances and obtaining updates from all stakeholders 

• Obtain claims’ details and triage, and report to insurers 

• Guide clients on submitting claims 

• Interpret policy coverage on behalf of Aon clients 

• Discuss coverage details with the insured and the insurance company 

• Assist clients and negotiate with insurers to build successful partnerships and positive claim resolutions 

• Assist in set-up of claims’ protocols for key accounts 

• Work with control adjusters to obtain updated claim information and data

Skills and experience that will lead to success 

• 7 to 12 years of claims handling experience preferred  

• Specialized commercial claims experience with a focus in: 

• Construction ( Wrap–Up, Builders Risk) 

• Property 

• Casualty 

• Environmental 

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills 

• Ability to build strong business relationships both internally and within the industry 

• Ability and willingness to work in a team environment  

• Bilingual in French or other language an asset 

• Required to obtain RIBO license within first year of employment (regulatory requirement) 

• Working towards Designations in CIP/FCIP or CRM are preferred
