Description
As an Administrative Support IV within Central Corridor Medical Affairs, you will be an integral member of a collaborative team supporting Medical Affairs medical leadership and physicians across the Central Corridor. This position provides administrative support and cross-coverage across all areas of the Medical Affairs portfolio. The successful candidate must be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable shifting between responsibilities based on needs and changing priorities. You will work closely with Medical Affairs leadership, physician leaders, physicians, administrative colleagues, and other internal and external partners. Responsibilities may include calendar and meeting coordination, preparing agendas and minutes, managing correspondence and documentation, supporting physician and medical leadership processes, maintaining accurate records, coordinating information, physician recruitment, time keeping and providing coverage for other Medical Affairs administrative functions as required. The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, collaborative, and able to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal direction. You will exercise professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and attention to detail when handling sensitive and confidential information. If you enjoy variety, learning new processes, problem-solving, and being part of a team where you can contribute across multiple areas, this position offers an opportunity to play an important role in supporting physicians, medical leadership, and the work of Medical Affairs throughout the Central Corridor.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Some post-secondary education.
Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint. Oracle. Invoicing. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal direction while also functioning effectively within a collaborative team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to learn and navigate multiple electronic systems, processes and workflows.
