About Us
The Shoreline Power Group is a Joint Venture of Aecon, United and Atkins-Realis. Shoreline Power Group will be completing the Fuel Channel and Feeder Replacement (FCFR) project. The joint venture has been awarded a contract by Bruce Power to execute the Unit 3 FCFR at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station in Kincardine, Ontario.
This project is part of Bruce Powers Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Powers CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064, the project is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program to replace the main components of the reactor. Unit 3 is the second of six reactors being replaced by Bruce Power through the MCR program.
The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders for Unit 3, as well as construction management and trade labor. Work is currently in progress and will finish at the conclusion of U3 MCR.
The Jr Training Coordinator role is responsible for administering and archiving documents related to the training program. They will be expected to Audit signature/approval status of the documents and enter their completed status into a tracker as work progresses. They will be expected to monitor the progress of the training program, and report in a timely manner the delays and issues experienced during the training program execution. They will be required to generate some documents, spreadsheets and trackers to improve efficiency and organization at the training centre.
What You'll Do Here
They may be required to create new processes in training to better facilitate delivery of materials
Print, deliver and tend paperwork throughout the training program
Ensure that documentation is being completed in a timely fashion
Liaise with the Trainers, Fore and general forepersons of the training center
Observe and report on the progress compared to the written training plan
Update Qualification trackers with completion status of training program
Generate and tend items such as, but not limited to, Consumable trackers, mock up component trackers, and material floor space usage trackers
Facilitate the documentation required for training during the delivery process
Produce order and requisition forms for supplies needed in support of training
What You Bring To The Team
Experience with plant systems, Quality and pressure boundary programs.
Technical understanding of the equipment and components.
Knowledge of construction industry best practices for Safety, Quality, Work Planning and Project Controls
Skills using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Project, Power BI
Experience with database management and programming an asset
Knowledge of SAT/ADDIE training considered an asset
Good communication, organization, and leadership skills
Working knowledge of all reasonable aspects of the various series sets, IE FC install, EF removal, CT removal, feeder removal, feeder install, etc.
