Who we are:
Metrolinxs GO Expansion program is delivering more GO service across the network, including the capacity to deliver two-way service every 15 minutes or better on core routes. Work is already underway on new track, station renovations and infrastructure upgrades on parts of the Lakeshore, Stouffville, Kitchener and Barrie lines. The investment will generate thousands of new jobs and economic opportunities across the region. The ONxpress Civil Joint Venture is comprised of Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd. This multidisciplinary team leads the delivery of civil and track works, leveraging global expertise to introduce innovative solutions across the GO Transit network.
What Youll Do Here:
- Participate in the selection process by reviewing resumes, conducting pre-screen interviews, and providing feedback to hiring managers
- Coordinate/Manage recruitment activities schedule interviews, follow up on open roles, draft offers though ATS, pipeline top talent
- Coordinate Human Resources orientation and onboarding for new hires and ensure completion of all onboarding documentation including employee file
- Maintain required TA process tracking and reporting
- Perform administrative duties such as maintaining vacancy trackers regarding status/ATS, creating reports and dashboards regarding talent acquisition to ensure continued improvement within recruitment activities
- Support TA event and activities as required (job fairs, intern events .etc)
What Youll Bring to the Team:
- Completion of college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Previous 3-year experience working within a Human Resources department
- Preferred Completion of university degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Preferred previous experience working within a Human Resources department within the manufacturing industry
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
- Familiar with applicable employment legislation
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and project management skills
- Must be able to meet project deadlines, with good sense of urgency and follow through
- Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Expected compensation for this role is between $60,000-$70,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to multiple factors including skills, experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into consideration. In addition to base salary ONxpress also offers a comprehensive medical and dental program, RRSP with company matching and the potential to participate in our discretionary, performance based bonus program.
