You Are:
A health industry professional with a deep understanding of Canada’s health system, your experience ideally extends across both policy and funding bodies (e.g., ministries of health) as well as provider organizations, with relationships to match. You are passionate about working with clients not only to shape data-informed strategies but also to lead complex projects arising from those strategies.
You’re a natural at building and bringing out the best in teams. And you’re a problem’s worst nightmare, thanks to your prodigious analytical and creative chops. Communication and people skills? You have both in spades, along with a strong desire to make an impact on the many challenges faced by Canada’s health systems. You understand how to build business plans and manage commercial plans.
While you may have acquired your experience working within the health system you would ideally also have experience working in a consulting role.
The Work:
As member of the Health practice Senior management team, you will:
Run delivery of projects to help shape strategy and to implement programs that transform organizations and processes.
Earn the trust of senior leaders at client organizations and partner with them to create and deliver solutions at the intersection of business, technology, and operations - seeking the best business options in the context of global, economic, technology, and social trends.
Build relationships with clients to sustain Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.
Fortify Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting practice and role as a thought leader by creating content and taking part in professional forums, both internal and external.
Sell and win client mandates and engagements.
Mentor junior members of the Management Consulting team and help prepare them for more responsibility.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of experience in working with healthcare organizations with a focus on process and outcome improvement and associated evaluation and value quantification.
Strong passion for serving Healthcare clients in their effort to successfully transform and enhance their operations.
Deep interest in and knowledge of emerging trends impacting/likely to impact the healthcare community.
Demonstrated ability to working collaboratively with client leaders and teams
Team and relationship management
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel to clients and partners and work at client sites.
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
Professional Skill Requirements:
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Proven financial and economic analysis capabilities
Good leadership, communication (written and oral) and strong interpersonal skills.
