You are:
A transformation expert adept with the skills to help clients meet the challenges of digitization. You’re in your element using your know-how to solve clients’ most complex business problems to help their companies do more. You’re as comfortable working in teams and leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP systems. And you’re up for traveling regularly to client sites.
The work:

Analyze and optimize SAP system performance across HANA and S/4HANA landscapes.

Conduct root cause analysis for performance bottlenecks and implement tuning strategies.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure optimal system health and scalability.

Work closely with development teams to provide recommendations during initial development and advise on fixes for performance issues.

Provide guidance on best practices for SAP performance monitoring and proactive tuning.

Support migration and upgrade projects with performance validation and optimization.

Analyze and optimize ABAP programs, reports, and enhancements.
-
Reduce response times through efficient coding practices.

Contribute to client-facing activities, including solution design.

Assist in building and enhancing Accenture’s SAP Performance Tuning practice through knowledge sharing, asset development, RFP response support, and thought leadership.
Here’s what you need:
-
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP HANA and ABAP development.

Experience in performance tuning and optimization in large-scale SAP environments.

Ability to fine-tune HANA parameters for performance.

Understanding and application of HANA DB hints for query optimization.

Experience in improving performance of CDS views and SQL queries used in ABAP and HANA views.

Deep understanding of CDS and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) for efficient data modeling and performance tuning.

Proficiency with SAP tools such as ST03, ST05, SAT for workload and trace analysis.

Expertise in HANA Studio, PlanViz, and Explain Plan for query and execution plan analysis.

Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Bonus points if:

Experience with cloud-based SAP deployments.

Familiarity with SAP performance testing and performance benchmarking.

SAP functional experience.

Knowledge of SAP system architecture and integration points impacting performance.

Understanding of SAP application layers and their impact on performance

Deep knowledge of SAP HANA.

Deep SQL knowledge.

Skills in query optimization, partitioning, and memory management.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

Role Location Annual Salary Range
British Columbia/Ontario $69,450 to $119,450
