  • (Internal Title: Document Control III)
    • Supervise the application of specific document control methods, techniques, and tools
    • Contribute to the establishment of a framework for identifying, collecting, distributing, and filing controlled documents. This involves developing and maintaining document control procedures and participating in the development and roll-out of various document control tools and templates
    • Develop and implement document numbering and file naming standards (or similar) aligning with the established policies and governance procedures
    • Create and apply document control process workflows and document a distribution list to identify the required participants involved in document reviews
    • Conduct quality checks on the control system for compliance with the established standards. Update any approved revisions
    • Arrange meetings to follow up with the team on outstanding document reviews
    • Manage and mentor Document Control
    • Provide an interface to IT for document control issues, which include process enhancements to existing software and recommendations for new hardware and software that may benefit the document control environment
    • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure all controlled documentation is processed as per the established schedule
    • Liaise with the team to address any areas of concern and ensure continuous improvement in the established procedures, including training and knowledge transfer

Qualifications
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Document Management in a leadership or supervisory role, in an engineering and construction environment

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or General Education Development certificate or relevant work experience
  • Licenses OR Certifications:
    • Relevant industry accreditations e.g. AIIM, CIP
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Must have experience in leading a small document control team
    • Advanced skills in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), such as Microsoft SharePoint, ProjectWise, Aconex, or any equivalent Document Control software
    • In-depth knowledge of Document Control procedures, filing, and record retention systems
    • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating leadership, teamwork, innovation, and excellence
    • Demonstrate functional acumen to support how solutions will address established goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
    • Strong supervision, delegation, and capacity development
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
    • Must continue professional development to keep abreast of emerging document control software and industry standards
    • Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
    • Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
    • Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
    • Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
    • Experienced in assembling controlled documentation for programs and projects

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit - in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.

Role Location Annual Salary Range

Ontario $99,000 to $148,000
