  • (Internal Title: Construction Management V)
    • Manage a large team, which may consist of multi-firm resources and client resources, leveraging a diverse array of talents and delegating responsibilities
    • Provide direction and management to construction teams at every phase of the project or program to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and objectives
    • Support project and program departments through preliminary constructability development, alternative technical concepts, constructability design, and design variances
    • Ensure proper digital infrastructure is set for construction administration and field operations
    • Participate in critical decision-making on highly technical and complex issues related to construction progress. Gather project intel through meetings, reports, contractor submissions, and schedules
    • Resolve claims or dispute submissions initiated by the Contractor (potential or actual)
    • Contribute to the development, recommendation, and implementation of scope, policies, and plans with construction management, standards, technical requirements, infrastructure and system development, constructability design reviews, change management, and Request For Proposals or Request For Quotes (RFPs or RFQs), in conjunction with established KPI’s
    • Liaise with project leaders to review and analyze project status, concerns, and specific actions needed to ensure the on-time and on-budget completion
    • Assess project resource capabilities to accomplish current and future assigned work and actively lead the resourcing, staffing, and de-staffing of projects and programs
    • Mentor and guide team members on construction and design requirements, schedules, cost estimates, etc.
    • Facilitate regular meetings with clients, third parties, and managers to assess progress, resolve critical issues mitigate risk, and negotiate scope changes
    • Develop a budget and operating or delivery plan for the construction services on a project or program in consultation with our project and program team and client
    • Forecast the human and material resources required to successfully deliver construction services
    • Ensure goals are met in construction management services including customer satisfaction, and team performance
    • Oversee the interface between client, consultants, and all associated service providers at all levels of the engagement model
    • Build and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture with an openness to constructive challenge, continuous improvement, implementation of lessons learned, and an overall ‘right-first-time” mindset
    • Responsible for monitoring and managing staff on clear and focused performance objectives (including non-company resources) to ensure excellence in results
    • Promote a project environment that is inclusive, and diverse and celebrates our differences
    • Conduct construction services training appropriate to staff accountability

Qualification
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 18 years of experience in Construction Services in area of specialty
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or Construction Management field
  • Licenses OR Certifications:
    • Holding recognized certification in the applicable area of specialty
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Expert knowledge of prevailing construction means and methods in area of specialty
    • Seasoned in construction-related software applicable to area of specialty
    • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment by ensuring effective teamwork, promotion of innovation, and overall excellence
    • Proven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks
    • Expert ability to detect and capitalize on others' strengths
    • Demonstrated capability to supervise, delegate, and develop capacity
    • Ability to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tension
    • Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
    • Proven site leadership capability for multi-resource teams with seasoned experience building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
    • Capability to understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
    • Inclined to maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
    • Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
    • Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities with a track record for meeting deadlines
    • Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal) in a demanding multi-disciplinary project environment
    • Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently on creative and analytical tasks in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The recruiting efforts for this position are intended to fill an existing position.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit - in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
