  • (Internal Title: Project Management IV)
    • Responsible for the overall leadership, management, reporting, and coordination of Contract Administration and Procurement III, II, and I staff overseeing procurements, contracts, and commercial management activities across various programs and projects
    • Manage team dynamics and performance including timesheet and vacation approvals, employee evaluations, engagement, and performance improvement while monitoring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, policies, procedures, and quality standards
    • Provide leadership and direction to commercial teams in developing and implementing commercial plans, processes, reporting methods, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful administration of procurements, contracts, and related commercial activities
    • Exercise authority in managing contracts, procurements, and commercial deliverables in accordance with established plans while identifying, escalating, and mitigating commercial and performance risks, preparing change requests, and negotiating scope or contractual changes
    • Track, monitor, evaluate, and report on contract performance against requirements, milestones, budgets, KPIs, and quality measures, implementing corrective actions and defining success criteria throughout the contract and program lifecycle
    • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to contract teams, senior leadership, and key stakeholders while recommending and interpreting contract and program expectations
    • Act as a subject matter expert in Contracting and Commercial Guidance within Infrastructure and Capital Projects, providing ongoing support on commercial, contractual, compliance, and risk matters
    • Collaborate with account leadership and client stakeholders to understand client needs and account strategies, support pre award sales activities, and drive deal formation, contract negotiations, and execution alongside sales and business leadership teams
    • Support the review, negotiation, and execution of commercial agreements including NDAs, teaming agreements, subconsultant agreements, and engagement terms and conditions while coordinating specialist support across legal, insurance, risk, operations, and compliance functions
    • Manage client compliance requirements during RFP and contracting processes including corporate and tax compliance and anti corruption vetting for third parties
    • Complete additional tasks as assigned by senior leadership while working flexibly across remote, client site, and office environments to support collaboration and relationship building

Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 12 years of experience in commercial and contracts management within Infrastructure Construction Management, Utilities or Resources or Supply Chain for these professional services or advisory contexts, with a strong background in reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing complex commercial agreements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Logistics or Supply Management
    • Advanced degrees, such as a Master of Business Administration or Juris Doctor, are considered an asset
    • Bilingualism in French and English is required
    • Licenses OR Certifications:
    • Holding recognized certification in specified fields of Engineering, Contracts Management, Program Management, Procurement Management, or Project Management including PMP (Project Management Professional), Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certificate Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM), or equivalent
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of prevailing Project Management methods
    • In-depth knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
    • Proficient in Project Management software
    • Proven capacity to anticipate, identify, and minimize risks
    • Expert ability to detect, capitalize on, and be sensitive to others' strengths
    • Tact to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tension
    • Capability to lead, supervise, delegate, and develop capacity
    • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment by ensuring effective teamwork, promotion of innovation, and overall excellence
    • Competent in understanding interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
    • Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
    • Proven success in providing on-site leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
    • Extensive experience in effectively leading mid-sized multi-discipline contracts teams
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
    • Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
    • Tailor technical information for different audiences through presentations, reports, and other means independently
    • Skilled in the negotiation of favorable terms under contracts
    • Must foster relationships with various stakeholders
    • Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
    • Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
    • Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
    • Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, metrics, and software with the ability to evaluate performance, manage multiple assignments, and prioritize competing risks to meet deadlines with minimal oversight
    • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial, contractual, legal, insurance, and procurement practices across public and private sector environments, including experience leading commercial and contracts teams in professional services and working within collaborative contract models such as unincorporated consortiums
    • Demonstrated success with progressively increasing responsibility, providing on site leadership to mid sized, multi discipline teams, building and motivating team members to achieve project goals, and fostering effective collaboration across pursuits, technical, legal, insurance, risk, and compliance functions
    • Proven ability to anticipate, identify, escalate, and mitigate risks while negotiating favorable contract terms and driving strong commercial and risk management outcomes
    • Strong business and functional acumen with the ability to understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs, ensuring solutions align with client objectives and industry best practices
    • Advanced analytical and creative problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail, promoting innovation, teamwork, and excellence in structured, technology driven environments
    • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to tailor technical information to diverse audiences through presentations and reports, and effectively relay and receive information

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit - in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
