The Practice:
Intelligent Asset Management, With A Team of Leading Practitioners having deep functional & industry knowledge specializing in the areas of Asset Integrity and Reliability Management, Master Data Management, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) & Maintenance Execution, Material & MRO Management, Industry Analytics and Digital Industrial Workforce. We serve across various industry verticals, and we are looking for candidates with EAM experience in Discrete & Process manufacturing verticals, covering Auto / Aero & Defense / Oil & Gas / Chemicals / Pharmaceuticals / Consumer Goods / Hi-Tech segments.
Role Summary
The Maximo Delivery Lead is accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of IBM Maximo and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) programs. This role provides senior delivery leadership across complex initiatives including implementations, upgrades, de‑customization, and sustainment, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed quality standards.
The Delivery Lead serves as the primary point of accountability for the client, leading integrated delivery across functional, technical, and integration teams while managing risk, governance, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Program Leadership
- Own end‑to‑end delivery accountability for large, complex Maximo / MAS programs.
- Lead integrated delivery planning across functional, technical, testing, data, and integration workstreams.
- Manage scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, issues, and financials in line with contractual commitments.
- Drive delivery execution across multiple phases including design, build, test, deployment, and hypercare.
- Act as the primary escalation point for delivery issues and ensure timely resolution.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary delivery interface with client leadership and senior stakeholders.
- Lead delivery governance forums, executive status reviews, and steering committees.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through transparent communication and outcome‑focused delivery.
- Align delivery approach to client operating models, site constraints, and regulatory environments.
Maximo / MAS Leadership
- Provide senior functional leadership across IBM Maximo and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) solutions.
- Guide decisions related to configuration vs. customization, upgrade strategy, and technical debt reduction.
- Ensure delivery aligns with Maximo/MAS best practices, architectural standards, and long‑term roadmap considerations.
- Partner closely with technical architects and SMEs to validate solution design and delivery feasibility.
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams including functional consultants, developers, architects, testers, and integration resources.
- Coach delivery team members on delivery discipline, quality standards, and client engagement expectations.
- Manage blended teams across onshore, offshore, and third‑party resources.
- Support onboarding and ramp‑up of new team members to ensure delivery continuity.
Risk, Quality & Governance
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks across the program lifecycle.
- Ensure strong quality assurance across design, build, testing, and deployment activities.
- Enforce delivery governance, change control, and reporting standards.
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and delivery in regulated environments where applicable.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience delivering IBM Maximo solutions, including leadership roles.
- Minimum 10 years of delivery leadership experience managing complex enterprise programs or projects.
- Proven experience leading Maximo or MAS implementations, upgrades, or major transformations.
- Experience delivering in asset‑intensive industries such as utilities, energy, transportation, or infrastructure is strongly preferred.

- Deep understanding of Maximo functional processes (e.g., work management, asset management, inventory, maintenance planning).
- Solid understanding of Maximo/MAS architecture, integrations, data migration, and upgrade considerations.
- Ability to lead and challenge technical teams without being hands‑on technical.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

Role Location Annual Salary Range
British Columbia/Ontario $99,450 to $209,900
