You Are

An established technical leader who can spec out a solution across the full stack of experience technologies and guide the selection of frameworks and platforms. Someone with an understanding of technology trends, and the experience to distinguish hype from high-performance. You are always thinking about how to create accessible, sustainable, and scalable solutions that can be developed and operated efficiently.

The Work

  • Advise on required capabilities and approaches given a high-level scope and business objectives

  • Create architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical designs for early-stage project opportunities and concepts

  • Estimate and/or review estimates for implementations, both top-down and bottoms-up

  • Review implementations to ensure adherence to architectural patterns

  • Perform assessments of current-state technologies and provide recommendations on improvements

  • Present solutions to clients and get buy-in from stakeholders

  • Spend up to 80% of your time working on-site with clients

Qualifications

Here's What You'll Need

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in technical roles

  • Minimum five (5) years as a technical lead

  • Minimum two (2) years as a developer using either Swift, Kotlin, TypeScript/JavaScript and related popular frameworks for front-end and back-end

  • Ability to explain trade-offs of different architecture decisions at each level of the experience layer (from front-end to api's)

  • Demonstrated experience defining end to end technical solutions for high complexity, large-scale customer-facing experiences

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, and how to effectively hand off architecture to various technical leads for implementation

  • Experience creating architecture documents following at least one popular approach (Open Agile Architecture, Viewpoints and Perspectives, TOGAF, etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Must be eligible for Reliability Clearance Status

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Lead workshops with stakeholders to define architecture, assess current state capabilities, and document decisions

  • Certifications from cloud providers

  • Certifications from experience platform vendors (content management, web hosting, etc.)

  • Effectively utilized GenAI agent mode as part of the software development lifecycle

  • Fluency in French
