Position Summary
Vernon Jubilee Hospital invites applications for a casual Pharmacy Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to join our state-of-the-art pharmacy facility and collaborate with a dedicated team striving to advance clinical pharmacy practice within Interior Health.

Key Role:
As a Pharmacy Technician at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of medication orders. Your responsibilities include processing medication orders, ensuring their therapeutic appropriateness and authenticity, and preparing, processing, and compounding prescriptions with accuracy and completeness. Additionally, you will maintain stock levels, perform clerical duties as assigned, and assist in processing clinically reviewed medication orders for distribution. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the delivery of exceptional pharmacy services.

Qualfications
• Grade 12 and graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
