Assignment:
Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
Courseload to include:
Grade 7-9 Mathematics
Grade 7-9 Science
Grade 7-9 Career and Life Management
Duties to commence August 28, 2024 and will continue until March 7, 2025
Qualifications:
Experience teaching Mathematics and Science at the junior high level would be considered an asset
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Experience mentoring youth and supporting positive decision making
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
Assessment literate
Strong Interpersonal skills
Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
Strong technology and 21st Century Learning Skills
