About Eabametoong First Nation
John C. Yesno Education Centre offers classes from Junior Kindergarten to grade 9 and has a student population of 250. Students completing high school typically go to Thunder Bay.
The population of the community is 1200 to 1500 depending on the season.
This is the perfect teaching opportunity for someone adventurous who enjoys the outdoors. There are 4 campsites available for staff and students to use throughout the year. One of which is on an island.
There are two big hunting seasons, moose season in the Fall and goose season in the Spring. Fishing is all year round.

Application Requirements:
Must be certified to teach in a Canadian province, with preference of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
A current evaluation of qualifications, if educated outside Canada.
Must have an awareness and appreciation of First Nations Culture
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Teaching Certificate
3 professional references (one from current supervisor)
