Assignment:
Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
Full-time FTE will combine the following courses:
Mechanics 10, 20, 30
Vehicle Ownership
Other (dependent on the successful candidates strengths/qualifications)
Duties to commence August 28, 2024 and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year
Qualifications:
Journeyman Mechanic
Teaching experience, specifically in the areas mentioned above
Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment
Excellent organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and positive team member
Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies and to differentiate in order to meet a wide range of individual needs
Assessment literate
An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset.
