We are looking for an experienced Magento Tech Lead (Magento Certified) with 5+ years of expert-level experience with Magento to join our team. You will be responsible for improving our eCommerce solutions and help mentor/train other Magento developers.
Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company’s needs, as well as help other developers improve their knowledge of the Magento platform.
Responsibilities:
- Translate functional requirements from business users into sound technical designs that meet business objectives
- Requirement analysis and estimation
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
- Work with business clients, project managers and developer teams to ensure solutions are delivered timely and on budget
- Write clean codes to develop functional web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Perform UI tests to optimize performance
- Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Oversee a team of developers / Provide subject matter expertise for use of the Magento platform
- Gather and address technical and design requirements
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Follow emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Magento full stack Developer; at least 5 years experience with Magento 2
- Client-facing with strong communication skills
- Must have an experience with Magento Cloud projects
- Knowledge about SOLID
- Should have at least one Adobe Commerce Certification
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Must have experience working with different web development languages (i.e PHP, MySQL, GIT, KnockoutJs, ElasticSearch, Rest, GraphQL)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
- The ideal candidate is expected to have architecture experience along with hands on team management experience
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Must be willing to work in EST timezone (9 am to 5 pm), on a full-time basis (40hours/week)
