We are looking for an experienced and insight-driven Senior Manager, Business Intelligence to lead our BI practice and transform data into strategic, actionable intelligence. This is a leadership role focused on analytics, reporting, KPIs, and dashboards empowering business stakeholders to make confident, data-backed decisions.
Reporting to the Director of Analytics, you will own the end-to-end delivery of business intelligence products: from aligning with stakeholders on metric definitions, to designing scalable dashboards, to ensuring our reporting ecosystem is accurate, timely, and meaningful. You will lead a team of BI analysts and developers, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Reporting & Insights Leadership
- Define and own the organization's core KPI framework, ensuring metrics are aligned to business goals and consistently understood across teams.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights to executives and business stakeholders.
- Translate complex datasets into compelling narratives that drive strategic decisions moving beyond data delivery to true insight generation.
- Establish and maintain reporting standards, and documentation across all BI outputs.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to understand their analytics needs and prioritize accordingly.
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of BI analysts and dashboard developers, setting clear goals and fostering professional growth.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning for direct reports.
- Build a high-performing team culture grounded in data quality, intellectual curiosity, and business impact.
- Manage team capacity, project prioritization, and workload distribution effectively.
Analytics & Data Strategy
- Collaborate with data engineering and data platform teams to ensure BI-ready data models and semantic layers are reliable and scalable.
- Leverage Databricks and connected BI tools to build performant, self-serve analytics solutions.
- Identify opportunities for self-service analytics, enabling business users to answer their own questions with confidence.
- Champion data literacy across the organization through training, documentation, and stakeholder enablement.
An Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related field with 2-3 years of people leadership experience
- Deep expertise in BI reporting, KPI development, dashboard design, and data storytelling
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with business stakeholders to translate needs into analytics solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks including SQL on Databricks, and/or Delta Lake familiarity and AI/BI dashboards
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Strong business acumen — ability to understand organizational priorities and connect them to analytics outputs.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Highly organized with strong project and stakeholder management capabilities.
