The Senior Analyst, Cyber Resilience & Awareness strengthens organizational readiness to withstand and recover from cyber disruptions. This role leads and supports business continuity & disaster recovery (BCDR) activities, drives security awareness and culture programs, coordinates penetration testing and remediation follow-through, and plans cyber crisis simulations and tabletop exercises (TTX). The analyst partners across Technology, Business Continuity, Risk, HR, Legal, and Communications to validate resilience objectives, uplift workforce behaviors, and ensure leadership is prepared to navigate cyber crises. 

Key Responsibilities Include 

  • Maintain current, tested recovery plans for critical applications, platforms, and business processes. 
  • Validate RTO/RPO objectives and dependencies; track gaps to closure with owners. 
  • Coordinate regular failover/failback drills (tech and process), documenting outcomes and lessons learned. 
  • Design and deliver an awareness program that includes campaigns, role-based learning, just-in-time nudges, and phishing simulations. 
  • Maintain awareness KPIs (phish-prone rates, training completion, reporting rates) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with HR/Comms to reinforce secure behaviors during onboarding, change events, and major initiatives. 
  • Plan and schedule red/blue/purple team exercises with internal teams and third-party providers. 
  • Track findings, risk-rank issues, and coordinate timely remediation with product and platform owners. 
  • Provide readouts to leadership; maintain an evidence trail for audits and regulatory reviews. 
  • Design and facilitate TTX scenarios (e.g., ransomware, data extortion, supplier compromise, BEC). 
  • Assess decision-making, escalation paths, and communications (internal, customer, regulator, media). 
  • Update incident response playbooks, contact trees, and runbooks based on post-exercise observations. 
  • Maintain standards, procedures, and playbooks for BCDR, awareness, testing, and crisis exercises. 
  • Produce dashboards and executive briefings covering resilience posture, KPIs, test outcomes, and risk trends. 
  • Align efforts with enterprise risk management, privacy, legal holds, crisis communications, and third-party risk. 
  • Partner with Security Architecture, SOC/IR, Infrastructure, App Teams, and Business Process Owners to embed resilience-by-design. 
  • Contribute to root-cause analysis for incidents and near-misses; translate findings into training and control enhancements. 


An Ideal Candidate will Possess

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Continuity/Emergency Management, or equivalent experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience across two or more of: BCDR, incident response, security awareness, penetration testing coordination, or cyber risk. 
  • Hands-on experience planning/facilitating tabletop exercises and/or coordinating recovery or failover tests. 
  • Strong understanding of RTO/RPO concepts, incident response lifecycles, and phishing/behavior-change mechanics.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze findings, build actionable remediation plans, and report clearly to technical and executive audiences. 
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills; discretion with sensitive information
