We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence to join our BI team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at transforming complex data into actionable insights and enabling data‑driven decision‑making across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence, the successful candidate will lead analytics initiatives that enhance sales performance, customer retention, and overall business effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate insights to business stakeholders.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify analytical needs and deliver high‑impact reporting and analysis using Agile methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvements in data quality, governance, accuracy, and reporting processes.
- Build, validate, and deploy predictive models to support strategic decisions and optimize revenue outcomes.
- Automate end‑to‑end reporting and analytical workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code, documentation, and configuration changes across analytics solutions.
- Document models, algorithms, business logic, and assumptions to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and maintainability.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to BI tools, data pipelines, and analytical processes to meet evolving business needs.
An Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting automation, or data science.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and modern data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Databricks SQL, MicroStrategy).
- Practical experience with Databricks or similar cloud‑based big‑data/Spark environments for data exploration, modeling, and insight generation.
- Hands‑on Python experience for data analysis, automation, and predictive modeling.
- Strong understanding of predictive modeling techniques such as regression, classification, and clustering, with demonstrated business application.
- Ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven success collaborating across diverse teams.
- Advanced degree or professional certifications in Analytics, Data Science, or Business Intelligence considered an asset.
- Experience with geospatial analytics, Salesforce, or Databricks notebooks is preferred.
- Background in telecommunications, subscription‑based businesses, or marketing analytics is an advantage.
- Passion for advanced analytics, continuous learning, and emerging data technologies would be good to have.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for analytical impact is desirable along with highly detail‑oriented with a strong commitment to data integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
