Description
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager - Fibre, the Purchasing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting Fibre Projects at Xplore Inc. This position is responsible for creating purchase orders based on requisitions, tracking the delivery and fulfillment of purchase orders, and maintaining accurate material data. The Purchasing Coordinator will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient procurement processes, while maintaining accountability for freight operations and database integrity.
Key responsibilities include:•Generate purchase orders based on approved requisitions.
•Monitor and track the status of purchase orders and associated shipment deliveries.
•Ensure compliance and accountability in all freight-related processes.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate timely deliveries.
•Maintain and update procurement and logistics databases with accuracy and consistency.
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain management.
•Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
•Demonstrated experience in supplier-facing roles.
•Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
•Excellent communication skills with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
•Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
