We are looking for a Fixed Wireless, Project Manager that will be responsible for managing a group of small to medium sized telecom network capital projects (Primarily Wireless) and delivering them on schedule, scope and budget.
Projects could include; New Tower Construction, Tower Rebuilds, Tower Co-locations, Technology overlays, Fibre Construction, Small Cell Construction, capacity upgrades and general network equipment upgrades.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with site acquisition, engineering, supply chain, construction, and operations primes to prioritize and schedule project deliverables
- Manage program financials and projects in accordance with corporate financial policies and tools (SAP & Quickbase)
- Assess project deployment plan or business case to develop project scope
- Collaborate with construction implementation teams to identify and balance internal resource allocation
- Regular reporting and communication on project status and budget
- Effectively manage change orders on projects
- Manage risk within program and escalate issues where appropriate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in project management or build-out of wireless network infrastructure
- Effective written, verbal and listening communications skill
- Able to perform at a high pace and under pressure
- Good knowledge of wireless telecommunications networks and infrastructure
- Telecommunications construction knowledge
- Able to read & interpret construction contracts
- Able to read & interpret engineered drawings
- Able to prepare cost estimates and schedules
- Ability to effectively and appropriately delegate work load
- Ability to make decisions
- Ability to manage time effectively
