Student-Centred Services, Winnipeg School Division, provides a wide range of multi-disciplinary services, delivered within a three-tiered model of support, that help meet the educational, social, emotional and communication needs of students while working collaboratively with schools and families.
Guided by a framework rooted in decolonization, reconciliation, Indigenous ways of knowing, and anti-racist/anti-oppressive pedagogy, the school social worker applies a strengths-based, student-centered and inclusive approach to remove barriers to student learning and support the success of students and families.
Qualifications:
· Master's Degree in Audiology
· Eligible for registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech/Language Pathologists of Manitoba (CASLPM)
· Eligible for School Clinician Certification in Audiology
· Demonstrated experience with pediatric hearing aid fitting and FM systems/technology
· Strong technology skills to complete online recording and reporting requirements
· Valid Class 5 drivers’ license and access to a reliable vehicle is required
· Dedication to anti-racism, equity, and diversity
· Proven commitment to Truth and Reconciliation
· Proven ability to build collaborated cultures founded on integrity and collective purpose
