The Faculté de médecine dentaire de l’Université Laval invites applications from qualified individual for a full-time tenure track faculty position in Pedodontics. The successful candidates will be required to deliver didactic, pre-clinical and clinical teaching at the predoctoral and postdoctoral levels, supervise students, contribute to the development of knowledge through participation in research activities, and undertake administrative activities including meetings and committee work.

Successful candidates will be required to have potential for teaching excellence in Pedodontics, research experience and the ability to contribute to the development of knowledge and to collaborate with researchers from various disciplines.

Applicants must have:

1. Have a DMD or DDS or equivalent;
2. Hold or be eligible for a license by l’Ordre des dentistes du Québec (ODQ);
3. Hold a graduate specialty degree in Pedodontics or be in the process of obtaining one;
4. Hold or commit to obtain a Master of Science degree; the candidate who holds a PhD in science or demonstrates an interest in pursuing studies at a PhD level will be highly considered;
5. Demonstrate teaching skills and be able to teach in French or make arrangements to become proficient in French within reasonable time;
6. Have demonstrated pedagogical skills and an interest in research and teaching.

Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
