Description
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary teaching position
- Assignments to include:
- Grade 7-9 Mathematics
- Grade 7-9 Science
- Grade 7-9 Physical Education
- Duties to commence April 17, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
- Possibility that position may commence sooner than anticipated
Qualifications:
- Experience Teaching in relevant courses as mentioned above
- Strong technology and 21st century learning skills
- Assessment literate
- Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a team-orientated learning environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- An understanding of High School Redesign and the Collaborative Response Model would be considered an asset
