Description
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
- Instructing as a grade 5 generalist with an additional option class
- Duties to commence March 30, 2026 and will continue until May 29, 2026, with the possibility of extension
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and Experience teaching grade 5 students would be considered an asset
- Ability to be flexible in assigned duties
- Strong knowledge and ability to effectively implement literacy and numeracy instructional strategies
- Ability to differentiate instructional strategies to effectively meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work in a team orientated learning environment and be a positive team member
- Assessment literate
- Effective classroom management that facilitates a safe, caring, and inclusive safe for all students
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
