Assignment:
Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
Courseload to include:
Math 8 & 9
Science 14/24
The position will include daily prep time and weekly supervision
Duties to commence August 28, 2024, and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year
Qualifications:
Experience teaching in relevant courses and grade levels as mentioned above would be considered an asset
Strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
Strong technology and 21st Century Learning Skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Effective classroom management skills
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
