Description
Assignment:
- Part-time 0.20 FTE Educational Assistant position
- To provide one-on-one support to a student in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom setting
- Two mornings per week
- Duties to commence January 5, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
Qualifications and/or Assets:
- Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant
- Experience with Students who have speech and language delays would be considered an asset
- Experience supporting students and children with behavioral needs would be considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
- Background and/or Experience working with children with diverse needs
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to be flexible in assigned duties
- Ability to work with numerous service providers Calm and patient approach to solving problems
- Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset
- Willingness to work collaboratively in an active, team-orientated learning environment
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
