Description
Assignment:
- Part-time 0.40 FTE Educational Assistant position in the Bright Futures Play Academy Program
- Duties to commence November 12, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
- 8:10-11:30 A.M., Monday through Thursday
- Duties will include providing individual assistance to preschool students with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom
Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with complex needs
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
- Calm and patient approach to solving problems
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment
- Ability to work one on one or with a student in an inclusive environment
- Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs
- Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal care and hygiene
- Toileting and lifting will be required
