Description
Assignment:
- Full-time 1.0 FTE Temporary Replacement teaching position
- Courseload to include Math 20-1, Math 10-3, Math 20-3, Math 7, and Physics 20
- 5 preps and one supervision per week
- Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue until January 31, 2026
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching in an Junior/Senior High classroom
- Experience teaching relevant courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success
- Assessment literate
- Able to provide direction and create individual student programs in collaboration with an EA
- Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills with an early education perspective
- Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
