Pay Range: $85,000 - $115,000

Responsible for leading the strategic development and complex execution of visual merchandising programs, encompassing in-store presentation, signage, and fixtures. This role requires rigorous oversight of end-to-end projects, managing robust 3rd-party vendor relationships, strict timeline adherence, and substantial financial spend. Partners cross-functionally to deliver high-quality initiatives and provides agile support across various merchandise categories to meet evolving business needs while driving team performance and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor & Financial Management
• Direct 3rd-party vendor relationships: Lead external partners to ensure strict adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and delivery expectations.
• Manage financial spend: Oversee and allocate the visual merchandising budget, ensuring cost controls, maximum ROI, and overall fiscal responsibility.
• Maintain comprehensive project overviews: Track KPIs and financial metrics to proactively identify roadblocks, implement process efficiencies, and drive cost reductions.
Project & Strategy Execution
• Drive complex end-to-end strategies: Manage merchandising strategies and project milestones in close collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Support diverse categories: Provide agile visual merchandising support across various merchandise categories as business and project needs dictate.
• Lead project milestones: Oversee comprehensive product line reviews, planning sessions, and proof-of-concept testing.
Visual & Customer Experience
• Elevate the brand: Develop and deliver innovative visual concepts, signage, and merchandising standards that enhance the customer journey.
• Drive design through data: Leverage competitive insights, best practices, and customer feedback to inform highly effective design strategies.

Skills:
Technical & Software Proficiency
• Design & Rendering: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Experience with 3D modeling or CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is highly preferred.
• Financial & Project Management Tools: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for budget tracking, financial modeling, and ROI analysis. Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project) to track vendor timelines and cross-category milestones.
Industry & Operational Skills
• Vendor & Budget Management: Proven track record of negotiating with 3rd-party vendors, managing RFPs (Request for Proposals), and controlling sizable project budgets.
• Fixture & Signage Development: Deep understanding of retail design principles, manufacturing processes, materials, and print production for fixtures and signage.
• Data Analysis: Ability to interpret sales data, consumer behavior metrics, and inventory levels to inform visual merchandising strategies and category support.
• Planogram Execution: Expertise in translating overarching brand strategies into actionable, store-level planograms and visual directives.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
· Reports to: Sr. Manager, Visual Merchandising, Fixtures, and Procurement
· Direct Reports: Visual Merchandising team members
Travel Requirements:
- 50% within the Greater Toronto Area
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to visit stores, offices, and vendor facilities as needed
Hybrid Work:
- Hybrid role (office + field-based)

Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)
Minimum Years of Work Experience:
· 5 years in a management role (with direct team supervision)
· 2 years of project management experience
Minimum Leadership Experience:
- Direct leadership and people management required
Certifications:
- Six Sigma, PMP, or Agile certification (asset)
Other Requirements/Assets:
· Visual merchandising experience in a retail environment preferred
· Strong ability to influence without authority across a complex organization
