SUMMARY

Thus, through our enriching internship program, we help develop the next-generation of engineers and technologists. As an Electronics Software Development and Testing Intern, you will help develop our industry-leading simulation software while gaining real experience in your field of study. You will work on a variety of impactful projects to help maintain, advance, and accelerate ANSYS products. In this internship, you will support our Electronics Business Unit. This is a 40-hour per week paid position starting January 2026 and concluding April 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the development, design, and testing of a new webapp that is part of the Electronics Desktop product using Angular.
- Advance software robustness by testing and verifying defect fixes.
- Conduct interactive and automated testing of user interfaces and simulation results.
- Build tools that automate software development/testing infrastructure processes.
- Learn and employ best software practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, device modeling or related technical degree.
- Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the internship program.
- Experience in with Python or Javascript/Typescript or C/C++
- Experience with 3D graphics
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of scripting and shells like python, csh, bash.
Prior experience of using ANSYS products or other engineering software is a plus.
A familiarity with electronics and/or mechanical engineering concepts will be helpful.
