INTERNAL and EXTERNAL JOB POSTING
For Members Currently Covered Under the Collective Agreement Between:
OSSTF and the SUPERIOR-GREENSTONE DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD
Purpose
The Continuing Education Teacher will be working with adult students in both face-to-face and virtual learning opportunities that support outreach, course updating, course delivery, course work support and upgrading. The Continuing Education Teacher will also work in collaboration with school Guidance Counsellors as well as community partners to meet the various needs of adult students.
Location:
One (1) position is available for the Greenstone Region.
Hours per Week per Area
Six (6) hours per week. The Successful candidate needs to be located in the Greenstone Region.
Qualifications
Valid Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualifications in good standing and qualifications for the position as warranted.
Experience and professional learning in Adult Education, including PLAR, with Senior qualification in English, Math and Science preferred.
Knowledge of online learning platforms and computer skills are preferred.
