Profil recherché

En tant que stagiaire en comptabilité de fonds (valeur liquidative) chez AIS Hedge, vous serez responsable du rendre compte de la valeur liquidative (NAV)pour nos clients hedge funds. Vous assisterez l'équipe comptable dans la préparation des dossiers de valeur liquidative et autres rapports, en veillant à leur qualité et à leur exactitude, dans les délais impartis, afin de répondre aux besoins de nos clients. Nous recherchons une personne motivée, capable de collaborer avec d'autres départements pour trouver des solutions innovantes aux problématiques complexes de l'entreprise, ouverte aux améliorations et sachant saisir les opportunités. Le/la candidat(e) idéal(e) devra faire preuve d'initiative, d'esprit critique, et entretenir d'excellentes relations avec les membres de l'équipe, les partenaires commerciaux internationaux et, surtout, nos clients.

L'équipe que vous rejoindrez fait partie du département Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) de State Street. AIS est un leader reconnu du secteur en matière de comptabilité, d'administration et de gestion des risques pour les hedge funds et les fonds de private equity. Ces services sont entièrement intégrés afin de fournir des solutions complètes couvrant l'ensemble des besoins front-office, middle-office et back-office des investisseurs institutionnels. Vos responsabilités

En tant que stagiaire comptable de fonds, vous serez amené(e) à :

• Examiner les rapprochements quotidiens de trésorerie, de positions et de valeur de marché, y compris la saisie et la tarification des transactions.

• Participer au processus comptable de la date de transaction.

• Contribuer à l’examen et à la résolution des rapprochements des comptes de trésorerie et de titres du portefeuille.

• Travailler sur des opérations sur titres, des actions, des obligations, des contrats à terme, des options, des swaps et des instruments financiers complexes.

• Dans le cadre des opérations quotidiennes courantes, identifier toute activité transactionnelle inhabituelle ou potentiellement suspecte et la signaler conformément à la politique et aux directives de l’entreprise, détaillées dans les procédures opérationnelles pertinentes.

• Participer à des projets ponctuels.

As an AIS Hedge NAV Fund Accountant Intern you will be responsible for NAV reporting for our hedge fund clients. You will assist the accounting team in preparing NAV Packs and other reporting of the highest quality and accuracy in a timely manner to meet the needs of our clients. We are looking for a committed individual who will collaborate with other departments to find new solutions for complex business challenges, who is open for improvements and who can take advantage of opportunities. The successful candidate will need to take initiative, exercise independent thinking, maintain an excellent and interactive relationship with team members, global business partners and, most importantly, our clients.

  • Review of daily cash, position and market value reconciliations including trade capture and pricing

  • Assist in the Dealing Date accounting process

  • Assist in reviewing and resolving reconciliations of portfolio cash and security accounts

  • Opportunity to work on corporate actions, equities, fixed income, futures, options and swaps and complex financial instruments

  • During the course of normal day to day operation, responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures.

  • Adhoc projects.

Education/Experience requirements:

Pursuing a Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field experience

Candidate must be detail oriented, have the ability to work in a deadline-oriented group with peak period workflow

Salary Range:

$37,440 - $43,680 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
