St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Full Time, Temporary, Educational Assistant 1 (EA1)/Bus Driver for a work assignment at École Hillgrove School.
More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.
Hours of Work : 30.0 hrs. /week; 6.0 hrs. /day; Monday-Friday; Full Time, Temporary
Hourly Rate: $25.14 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
Expected End Date: June 30, 2026
Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:
- Class 4 driver’s license preferred
- Clean drivers abstract will be required
- Formal training from MacEwan University or equivalent preferred
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is an asset
- Working with students with various learning and behavioural needs is an asset
- Experience with providing social, emotional, and behavioural supports is preferred
- Willingness to support students with personal care/hygiene
- Ability to work with a team
