St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Full Time, Probationary, Maintenance Worker 4 Electrician Journeyman for work assignments at Facilities Services .

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.



Hours of Work : 40.0 hrs. /week; 8.0 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Full Time, Probationary

Hourly Rate: $38.53 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement



Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:

  • Possession of current valid Alberta Journeyman Master Electrician certificate
  • Valid Driver’s license, Class 5 (current driver abstract will be required)
  • Strong background in electrical controls systems is required
  • Experience relating to construction and overall maintenance of facilities.
  • HVAC experience an asset
  • Familiarity with construction codes, safety standards, and trade practices
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
