St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Full Time, Probationary, Maintenance Worker 4 Electrician Journeyman for work assignments at Facilities Services .

Hours of Work : 40.0 hrs. /week; 8.0 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Full Time, Probationary
Hourly Rate: $38.53 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
Specific Needs/Requirements for this position:
- Possession of current valid Alberta Journeyman Master Electrician certificate
- Valid Driver’s license, Class 5 (current driver abstract will be required)
- Strong background in electrical controls systems is required
- Experience relating to construction and overall maintenance of facilities.
- HVAC experience an asset
- Familiarity with construction codes, safety standards, and trade practices
- Participate in an on-call rotation
