Description
WHAT TO EXPECT As a Buyer, you will report to the Director of Procurement & Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that production has the necessary materials and supplies to meet external customer orders. Your challenges will include optimizing cost reductions, reducing single-source products and negotiating prices on materials. As a buyer, you'll also be responsible for developing new markets, bringing technical knowledge to the purchasing department and acting as a bridge between it and R&D. In your role, you'll be called upon to collaborate with employees from other departments such as R&D, production and sales.

- You will be responsible for obtaining the best prices and purchasing conditions, in line with the company's cost reduction initiatives and annual targets
- You will negotiate the structure of contracts with new suppliers, including their terms and conditions
- You will act as the company's representative with suppliers, maintaining good business relationships
- You will provide sales support for customer quotations and price negotiations, advising on market trends and risks
- You will be responsible for keeping the various databases up to date (MRP parameters, price list, items and suppliers), when necessary
- You will handle purchase requisitions and purchase requests sent by e-mail by internal customers.
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and procedures
