The impact you will have:
Our Consultant will design, deploy, and perform optimization of Cisco Unified Communications solutions for enterprise clients. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance, technical leadership, and hands-on implementation across multiple UC platforms including CUCM, Unity, Call Center Express, Expressway, and Webex. Working under the direction of project managers and alongside systems engineers and customers, you will deliver quality solutions including accurate documentation and knowledge transfer. This role will also support pre-sales activities such as requirements gathering, technical design and reviewing professional services Statements of Work.
What you'll do:
- Conduct discovery sessions with clients to assess business needs and design tailored Cisco UC solutions.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to clients on Cisco UC solutions, including best practices, system optimization, and integration with other technologies.
- Delivering complete technical project solutions for customers
- Assisting in scoping and project planning for complex Professional Services projects
- Focusing strongly on client relationships, including organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Having knowledge and broad understanding of industry standards and IT Service Delivery concepts, and the ability to envision, design, and implement robust Cisco UC collaboration solutions
What you'll bring to the table:
- 5+ years of experience in voice administration with a focus on Cisco technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications, including CUCM, Unity, UCCX, Cube, Expressway and Webex Solutions.
- Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration or CCIE Collaboration) are a requirement for this role.
- Experience with design, configuration and implementations of MS Teams and Cisco UC (huge asset).
- Troubleshoot complex VoIP issues including call failures, registration issues, codec mismatches, and QoS problems.
- Analyze logs (call manager traces, SIP debugs, syslog, packet captures) to isolate root causes.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with evolving technologies and industry best practices.
- Travel expectation up to 30%
