Job summary

As a member of the store”s Management team, the Store Manager contributes to success in the store by providing a consistent retail floor presence and direct support to the Department Managers. Reporting to the General Manager/Associate Dealer, this role ensures customer satisfaction and retail execution that meets the performance expectations.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager, this role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and leading high-performing warehouse and promotional teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, thinks strategically, and leads with confidence and clarity.

Warehouse & Logistics Leadership

- Oversee efficient, accurate receiving, storage, and replenishment processes.

- Maintain top-tier warehouse standards with a focus on safety, organization, and compliance.

- Track and manage inventory issues: damages, claims, returns, and discrepancies.

- Manage timely waste and recycling pickup schedules.

- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG).

Promotional & Retail Execution

- Lead the planning and execution of weekly promotions and seasonal transitions.

- Ensure all featured areas are merchandised to standard: stocked, signed, faced, and ready.

- Partner with management to drive customer engagement through compelling displays.

- Monitor promotional stock levels and communicate proactively to avoid gaps.

Team & Culture Building

- Recruit, train, and lead a motivated team across warehouse and retail operations.

- Provide hands-on coaching, regular feedback, and performance management.

- Build a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.

- Create efficient, budget-conscious schedules aligned with business needs.

Operational & Strategic Support

- Assist with store opening and closing duties as needed.

- Collaborate with senior leaders on merchandising and logistics strategies.

- Contribute to continuous improvement and cross-functional problem-solving.

- Uphold and model a strong health & safety culture.

Requirements / Skills

What You Bring

- Proven experience in retail operations, warehouse/logistics, and team leadership.

- Ability to lead and inspire in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.

- Comfort working with inventory systems and operational reporting.

- Forklift and TDG certifications are an asset.

- Physically capable of lifting, walking, and working at heights when required.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
