Job summary
As a member of the store”s Management team, the Store Manager contributes to success in the store by providing a consistent retail floor presence and direct support to the Department Managers. Reporting to the General Manager/Associate Dealer, this role ensures customer satisfaction and retail execution that meets the performance expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Encourages and maintains a culture that values an excellent customer experience to all customers through effective training, supervision, coaching and performance management.
- Develops, motivates and holds the Management Team accountable to meet established objectives and targets for sales and profitability in their respective departments.
- Constantly reviews processes and procedures to ensure excellent retail execution, customer experience, sales, and profitability.
- Coaches and encourages Department Managers and staff on learning new skills and regularly provides informal and constructive feedback to make improvements.
- Ensures there is a training structure and that professional development strategies are implemented within the store.
- Communicates and ensure compliance with company, store, department and Health & Safety policies procedures.
- Accountable for strong communication, motivation and team building.
- Participates in store tasks, project and training to lead by example and help adjust processes to increase efficiency.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements / Skills
• A minimum of 3 years of experience of retail execution and operations in a senior management role
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of retail and financial principles
• Excellent knowledge of market trends and competition in the retail and automotive service industry
• Ability to understand and operate point of sale equipment and inventory computer systems
• Ability to plan, organize, communicate, delegate and follow up team”s activities and projects
• Entrepreneurial, results-oriented and team-oriented
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt and cope with challenging situations and make difficult decisions
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and carrying items, using a ladder, twisting, turning and reaching
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• College or University degree (asset)
