Our financial services client is seeking an Intermediate Financial Analyst to work with client auditors, maintains an understanding of accounting reports, and leads the implementation of new client reporting initiatives.

6 month contract to start, possible renewals. 4x a week onsite in Victoria. 7.5 hours per day.

Must Have Skills:

• Professional accounting designation (CPA) or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid conceptual and technical understanding of securities markets and investment accounting systems and workflows
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Nice to Have:

• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course
• Enrollment in or working towards the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) program
• Experience in preparing financial statement note disclosure for financial instruments
• Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension, Power BI, Power Apps or similar applications
