Our client is seeking a UI/UX Designer to act as a consultant and support ongoing Digital Twin development (in-house development).


Position Start Date: 2026-05-04

Position End Date: 2027-04-02

Length of Engagement: 12 month contract

Hybrid: At Marine Gateway, 3 days onsite per week mandatory (with Tuesday and Thursday being mandatory on-site days), non-negotiable.


Must Have:

  • 5+ years as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio, demonstrating a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Figma experience
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to illustrate design concepts and functionality.
  • Visual Design (UI): Design graphic user interface elements (menus, widgets, icons, layouts, screens, panels) and ensure visual consistency.
  • Education: Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Project Management Tools: Jira, Confluence or other similar project management software experience


Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of 3D modeling, animation principles, or scripting languages (C#, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement user-centered design processes to create seamless, intuitive, and visually compelling user interfaces
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for user interfaces, ensuring usability and functionality are optimized for diverse platforms and devices. Prototype and validate ideas before sharing them with the stakeholders
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into engaging and user-friendly UI designs
  • Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to enhance user experience and address usability issues throughout the development lifecycle
  • Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including UI specifications, guidelines, and assets for easy reference and consistency
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design, applying new techniques to improve design processes.
