Technology Architect to lead the design, architecture, enhancement, and operational support of a highly secure enterprise platform

Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Technology Architect to lead the design, architecture, enhancement, and operational support of a highly secure enterprise platform used across multiple organizations. This role involves full lifecycle support, including solution architecture, cloud deployment, system administration, and incident/problem management in both classified and unclassified environments.

Task include:

• Lead the analysis, design, architecture, testing, integration, documentation, and deployment of secure communication applications within enterprise environments.
• Design and implement supporting architecture using Microsoft Azure (IaaS), Microsoft Teams, and associated cloud services.
• Perform investigation, diagnostic, resolution, and recovery activities to support application, server, and system-related incidents.
• Utilize internal IT service management toolsets to receive, classify, assign, monitor, resolve, and close incidents and problem tickets.
• Develop, maintain, and publish operational support procedures and technical documentation to ensure consistent system support and traceability.
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled system changes, patches, and deployments following established change and configuration management processes.
• Provide system administration support for the deployment and rollback of tested software releases in secure production environments.
• Monitor and report on server and network health, ensuring availability and integrity of data, application services, and backup systems.
• Configure and maintain server environments, load balancing, security controls, and Active Directory authentication for secure application access.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of database schemas and web application models.
• Perform database administration tasks including performance tuning, backup and recovery, monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.
• Support development teams by configuring, maintaining, and optimizing development and test environments, deployed on VMware virtualized infrastructure with vLAN / vXLAN networking configurations.

Must have:

• experience with architecture frameworks (SABSA, TOGAF, DoDAF, ISO 19439)
• Secret Clearance
• Control Good Certification
