Senior Systems Administrator to support the development of system designs and specifications for applications in a multi-tier classified IT environment. The role focuses on maintaining network integrity and performance while supporting implementation and sustainment activities.

Tasks include:

• Install, monitor, upgrade, and maintain operating systems.
• Install, monitor, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Developers, and clients/stakeholders to sustain and enhance software performance.
• Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure the implementation of timely and reliable system administration procedures, such as backups and recovery.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
• VMWare, Dell Hardware.

Deliverables:

• Provide a written summary documenting the installation, monitoring, upgrades, and maintenance of operating systems and hardware/software.
• Deliver a presentation on system performance analysis and recommended improvements.
• Submit situation reports on demand to communicate the state of the JSIS network sustainment, tailored in format, detail, and scale to the specific area of responsibility.

Must have:

• Secret security clearance with the Federal Government
• Work on site - West NCR (Richmond / Ashton/Carleton Place)
