Sr. Microsoft 365 & Intune Specialist to support a migration and setting up BitLocker (managed via Intune), implementing DLP in M365

Our client is looking for a Sr. Microsoft 365 & Intune Specialist to support a migration and setting up BitLocker (managed via Intune), implementing DLP in M365.

Overview:

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune migrations, BitLocker configuration and management via Intune, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies within Microsoft 365, and best practices for deploying and managing Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online environments.

Must Have's:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, BitLocker, and M365 Security & Compliance.
• Proven experience implementing DLP policies in a Microsoft 365 environment.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration.
• Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or assist in migration projects to Microsoft Intune, including onboarding and enrollment of devices.
• Configure and manage BitLocker encryption through Intune policies to ensure endpoint security.
• Design, implement, and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and rules across Microsoft 365 services.
• Provide expertise on Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) architecture, configuration, and administration.
• Administer and optimize SharePoint Online environments, ensuring efficient site structure, permissions management, and compliance.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure best practices and regulatory requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Intune, M365 services, and SharePoint.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and user guides.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Conditional Access, Endpoint Protection, and Autopilot.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) in relation to Microsoft 365.
